Christine Stoddard is a filmmaker, writer, and artist named one of Brooklyn Magazine's Top 50 Most Fascinating People. She directed the feature films "Her Garden," "Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares," and "Her Garden," plus shorts like "Bottled," "Uncontested," and "De Colores (Chorus of Melancholy)." Her newest narrative film, "5 Ways I Didn't Marry You," is making its festival circuit. She runs the YouTube channel @StoddardSays, which includes her non-fiction series “Christine Stoddard’s New York," comedy act "Art Bitch," and talk show “Badass Lady-Folk." She co-hosts the comedy TV show “Don’t Mind If I Don’t” with Aaron Gold, on YouTube @DontMindTheShow. She started her career writing books, founding Quail Bell Magazine, and directing the documentary “The Persistence of Poe.” Her work has appeared in Time Out New York, Cosmopolitan, Ms. Magazine, Bustle, Teen Vogue, City Limits, and beyond. In May 2025, she will graduate with her M.S. from Columbia Journalism School.
